Brookhaven National Laboratory
Brookhaven National Laboratory located in Upton, New York[?] on Long Island was formally established in 1947 at the site of a former U.S. Army base. Brookhaven is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Brookhaven Science Associates.
